All round Solar Engineer

Independent Energy from Haarlem is growing and would like to meet candidates who want to grow with us.
Independent Energy designs, delivers and installs off grid solar systems in Africa in particular since 2011. We have an extensive track-record of appealing solar installations that provide electricity in the most remote places. Independent Energy is based in Haarlem and provides both wholesale services of Victron and Morningstar brands as well as the construction of complex international solar projects.
Due to increasing workload, we are looking for an all-round solar engineer with commercial talent. Your work may consist of designing solar systems, writing quotes and taking care of communication and project management of current orders. Do you have experience with installing solar, or do you have other qualities that make you the ideal candidate then we would like to hear from you.
The position consists of both practical and technical/commercial work, and can be interesting for both a junior solar installer who wants to develop further and a commercial technical talent with ambitions in international solar projects.
- We currently have room for a junior (upcoming), senior solar engineer/project leader. For both positions, the range of tasks is both practical and technical/commercial;
- Do you have other relevant experience and are you motivated to join our team please send us your CV with motivation
- Good speaking and writing skills and good command of at least English, and preferably a 2nd foreign language are an advantage for this position;
- Technical affinity obtained through education or work experience.
